#9: ( _ ) is an underscore, not a dash. Underscores are also called understrikes. There are two types of dashes: the en dash ( – ) and the em dash ( — ). In summary: “_ – – —” = “underscore, hyphen, en dash, em dash,” respectively. On a Macintosh, option+shift+hyphen is a shortcut to the em dash.
