Yeah. Take a moment to process that.
Even though the leaves haven’t really started changing yet the weather still seems to think it’s summertime, October marks the start of fall! Well, technically fall actually started on the equinox (Sept. 23), but to me October makes it real. Think pumpkins, leaf piles, cinnamon apple cider donuts, the works. In honor of the start of this illustrious (and my personal favorite) season, consider this lovely haiku to get you in the mood for the weeks to come:
a worm digs silently
into the chestnut.
