TODAY: Learn about the MFA in Creative Writing

Are you a creative writer? Are you thinking about your next step, and wondering about grad school? Today, September 27th, at 4:15 p.m. in Allbritton 311, Professor Michelle Herman, Director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Ohio State, is here to tell you everything you wanted to know about graduate work in creative writing, from what MFA programs look for to what MFA programs are good for. Advice from the theoretical to the practical–what not to do, what must be done, and why.

Everyone is welcome to come and chat with Professor Herman.

Sponsored by the Shapiro Creative Writing Center and Writing at Wesleyan.

There may be a few spaces for students to have dinner with Prof. Herman after the talk. If you’re interested, talk to Professor Anne Greene at the event this afternoon.
